Order and User Tags

Overview

Assign tags to customers and their orders with the Order and User Tags add-on. Tags can be used to easily categorize or add notes to a customer or order, as well as filter them quickly in the admin panel.

The Order and User Tags add-on provides you with new abilities such as:

  • add tags to orders
  • add tags to customers
  • filter orders by particular tags
  • filter customers by particular tags
  • manage all tags on one page

Compatibility

The add-on is compatible with CS-Cart and Multi-Vendor 4.3.x. and above.

Managing in the admin panel

Installing the add-on

Install the “Order and User Tags” add-on on the add-ons list page (“Add-ons” → ”Manage add-ons”). Click the + button in the top right corner, select an archive and click Upload & install. You can now find the installed add-on in the list of installed add-ons, just make sure it is set to Active.

Adding tags to orders

In order to add tags to orders, go to Orders - View orders, select a desired order and enter tags in the provided Tags field. Keep in mind to click Enter each time you add a new tag.

You can now search for orders by tags. Enter the necessary tags in the Tags field and click Search.

Adding tags to customers

In order to add tags to customers, go to Customers - Customers, select a desired customer and enter tags in the provided Tags field. Keep in mind to click Enter each time you add a new tag.

You can now search for customers by tags. Enter the necessary tags in the Tags field and click Search.

Managing tags

You can manage tags under Website - Search tags. On this page, you can add, edit, delete, enable, or disable tags.
